On the traces of composer Franz Xaver Gruber you learn more about his life and his work. The Silent Night Museum shows you, next to furniture and personal items, the original documentation on the most famous Christmas Carol. And also the guitar having been played at the very first performance is to be admired. A walk through the Christmassy decorated old town of Hallein brings you into the perfect mood for the Advent season.
